Supradan
Hi all Just been out to the car and found that some ****** has put a 4" scratch on the n/s rear quarter panel. How much do these usually cost to have repaired ,its down to the primer by the looks of it so no chance of polishing it out. had to happen now as its being traded in within 2 weeks for my TT.......goddam it!!! JustGav
Put up a picture of the scratch.. Depending on how far down it is, there might be a way of recovering it.

JustGav
Hmmmm, someone like chips away would be able to do it.. Try use good polish products like meguairs ScratchX (not tcut), and see how it works out.
Supradan
Trouble is i am in cornwall and no "chips away" down here may just have to bite bullet and visit local body shop for repair as i need it done asap for above reasons. Pig
That looks like it needs to go to the bodyshop to me. Make sure you are going to get the surrounding pannels blended, it could end up looking terrible iif you dont. If you trading with a garage then leave it, it will only cost them about 200 to get it sorted rather than about 4 - 5 for you!
