Nearside Rear wheel bearing

Can we have a show of hands (or just post up saying 'me') if you have had to change your nearside rear bearing yet not had issues with your offside.

I am pretty sure i have seen a few people discuss this recently, so dont be shy, lets see if we can identify a pattern

PM me if you would, for any reason, prefer not to post

Mine has failed twice on my nearside (left sat in car/kerbside/whatever) yet the offside is perfectly fine and dandy.

I also saw a few others recently post up. Any thoughts, i cant see there being an appreciable difference in the casting.

During discussion with Tlicense on here a while ago, it emerged that the bearings we buy now are different to those on the EPC.

I wonder if this is a sign of something or other.

I remember a thread where Chris Wilson gave his view on why one side appeared to go more then the other but i cant find it. Too many wheel bearing threads.
