FMIC - Bumper Meshed or not??

im in two minds what to do here looks sweet with no mesh but I guess you risk a big rock or stone flying through??

What do you guys do??

Mine is meshed, that's what Dude recommended when he fitted my FMIC.

Meshing does stop a lot of flies going through it and onto the unit. I agree though, it looks better without meshing. Guess it depends on how often/willing you are to replace the thing if it does get shot to death with road debris.

Mesh it if you've got an expensive IC. It may not stop the big rocks, but defintely makes a difference for the smaller ones. I had a golfball size rock hit mine right in the middle leaving a 1inch deep dent in the mesh, the IC only had a couple of bent fins, would have been a lot worse if the mesh weren't there!
