i was on the way to bournemouth tonight and had the trac control off as i had been playing,;)

got on the m27 and the road was wet, (forgot to turn trac control back on!)

i was in the middle lane doing 90 and went to pass a car and decided to boot it.

auto box kicked down, turbos spin, wheels spin, car kicks sideways!!!!!:taped:

got it straight again no worries but went straight for the trac button!

dont think the nokian tyres help things!:D

get yourself some good tyres its not much of an investment in the scheme of things. Even with good tyres though, you will have plenty more of these to come. I btw never rely on the stock tc it would be more useful as an ornament on your fire place!

I used to have issues like that all the time, when i first got the car, it had some budget brand tyres on it.

I swapped over to eagle f1 and the same kind of right foot action couldn't unseat the car.

But personally wet weather + heavy right foot is asking for trouble regardless of set up.

This morning mine went sideways with LESS than half throttle, as I was leaving the Dartford tunnel tolls.

A guy next to me was trying to squeeze in, as he saw me playing crab-walk he backed off big time.

The point is that tyres are good and newish and throttle was less than half. The crappy UKSpec TC kicked in, too much too late as usual.

Take care out there.
