garetheves
....Disconnect and reconnect the coil pack connectors while the engine is running. Im trying to test whether one of my coild packs are to blame for my missfire problem and would rather keep he engine running so its easier to hear a difference. I know this prob should be in technical but need a quick answer really.
JustGav
I would have thought it should be okay. They are 12v so they are low voltage. They do fail on the cars and all they do is run rough, it does just stop the plug from firing so the fuel should just get blown out the exhaust. Just don't do it long term I would have thought. Dave
if they are anything like removing a plug when the engine is running you will get quite a kick if you dont use some rubber coated pliers or something similar
