Its official, I now have a professional racing driver all sorted to drive my RX7 this year. His name is Tony Green and drove the Soarer in the D1 series last year, his reputed to be one of the best drivers in the series so should see the RX7 and Team Whifbitz up at the front with any luck. We've got Toyo tyres on board as well which is major bonus! Cant wait to start testing next week, I'll stick some pictures and videos up as soon as I have some available.

Watch this space.

Very nice Paul. I still think a black RX-7 is the best looking Japanese car you can buy, followed very closely by the Supra.

Nice spec too. Will be interesting to see it in the drift series now.

They do look sweet when they are done right, you dont see many that are! Really cant wait for this year, got some really good things happening with the 2 cars(time attack) running together, loads of sponsors on board as well which is always good!

That's a sweet Rex Paul!

Not the sort of thing i need to see when currently deciding to sell the my Auto Sup TT to make space in the garage in my new gaff for a weekend warrior manual RX :(

What happened to that shabby body kitted white one i saw last year, thought that was gonna be a project drifter?

Yeah, should be as I'm trying to get it finished off ready for testing next week. Stuck a load of gauges in there today and tomorrow will be the fire system, mapping it tonight with any luck!

Just so happens I have a nice black rx7 for sale at the mo :)

I sold the T51R white one, its back in at the mo for some extra mods to take it to the next level! Fuel system, water injection, power fc and a lot more boost, should be quick with that mother of a turbo!

We went for our first test of the season at Silverstone yesterday, car ran like a dream all day, just needs a bit of setup work at the moment, Tony Green(my driver) reckons its going to be the nuts once its setup right.

Paul, good to have you on board with the Drifting mate :). I've always wanted to see a decent FD being driven properly in the UK, and if anyones going to drive it properly for you, it's Tony. It looks like we're going to have a job on our hands to retain the title this year with the amount of serious cars we're seeing enter :d.

Cheers

Hi Phil,

Cant wait for the season to kick off, should be a goodun this year like you say. Part of the reason I built the RX7 was to be a bit different from the rest, dont know of any others running this year, do you? Hopefully we'll be in with a chance of winning!

Nothing to do with the car, it's a fantastic choice as long as you sort the fuel starvation problem on high G's. I blew a good friends FD up showing him how to drift it :d.

Fantastic Rex paul, great work from you again. Will hopefully get to see it in action as a few round of the UK D1GP tie in with the shows, Donny North and Trax I think, will come say hi. Love to see a RSR Style Supe entered, now that would be different.
