Easy to convert to different mph gauge?

I might be wrong but it sounds like someone has fitted a mph face in place of the km/h one - is 11mph at roughly the 5 o'clock position?

If so your speedo is operating in km/h and you can sort that out by fitting a 'proper' mph facia (110mph is nearer 1 o'clock from memory) and use a speedo convertor so that you have a larger range of values over the same swept area, if you get me :)

Well my speedo's max value is 110mph, which is about 5 o clock. I think its the correct speedo. I mean it shows the correct speed.

And no Its not scary going past 110 lol :)

Like SteveR says, someone has stuck a mph face over the original kph one. What you need to do is get an electronic converter: http://www.thor-racing.co.uk/Electronic-186.asp then some new dials that read up to 180mph: http://miami-gt.com/product_info.php?cPath=100_3_42&products_id=236&osCsid=45e8fbed959ac2a660c32bc6647d8360
