I want to take them off so that i can strip them back and repaint them and then put them back on. The question is how do i take them off? Asuming there the same.. mine were quite easy.. removed the plastic cap at the base of the arm which reveals the nut just a normal spanner to remove it (.. if you "pop" the arms up like if you were washing the windows they seem to undo and come off easier.. Ps after a good sanding i used "plasticote" spray paint from halfords.. very happy with the result.. look good as new.. Hope that helps, Good luck.
