changing the fuel filter

I seem to remember the procedure being:

1. Pull the EFi fuses so the fuel pump doesn't work.

2. Try to start the engine to take any fuel/pressure out of the lines.

3. Get a flare-nut spanner to remove the old fuel filter.

4. Fit the new filter, being extremely careful not to cross the threads.

5. Reconnect EFI fuses and start engine.
