When I first start my car up it sits at 1.5-2k, whats the problem? Is it what people call running to rich? Whats the answer?

Is this not the fast idle feature to warm the engine up quicker.
Mine sits bout 1200rpm when it cold for a couple of mins

Mine is like that at the moment (idling at 1.5k) but that is because the TPS needs to be re-calibrated. :)

Yeah, mine sits at around 1500 - 1700 revs when cold, then drops to around 1100 - 1200 revs after a couple of mins. When warm it sits at around 600 revs.

Same here, once starting up for the first time it idles anywhere from 1-2k depending on how cold it is and whether the AC is on, AC raises my idle by about .2-.7k. Drops to .5-1k after a few mins...
