Tein Suspension??

Not heard much good things about Tein, prone to leaking so i'm told.

The older models maybe, the new Tein coilovers such as the Super Streets and Flex are fine. I've sold loads of sets of Super Streets and only had positive feedback. They seem to be well suited to UK roads, ie. good balance between comfort and performance.

I've been running Super Streets now for about a year and have had no problems at all with 'em. Good height adjustment, good rebound adjustment (with an EDFC this'd be superb as you could have 3 setings programmed in for fast cruising, hard driving & driving with the g/f in car, lol).

Good kit, I'd recommend it.

I have Tein Flex with EDFC. Not had any problems so far and they are easy to adjust - adjusted them last week for a slightly higher ride, which only took 40mins. Obviously slightly harder than standard suspension, but there there to improve performance and will therefore be slightly harder. The roads I drive on are probably the worst in the SE (Sussex, Hampshire and Surrey border, where no ones takes ownership of the roads and thus they have started to dissolve!!!) and they manage just fine!!

Looking at the Tein Super Streets and would appreciate any feedback/advise?

Don't want a bumpy ride, but would like the car to feel a bit more sturdy when cornering.

Any other opinions welcome??

Ive got these on my n/a and the handling is awsome they easily out do my mate in his skyline hes so jealous of them. But they are a bit harsh on the road, you can feel every bump, but you get used to it.

the street are softer than the flex for a daily driver ?

They both use the same spring rate and both can be adjusted from road comfort or track use. The Flex has different set up for adjusting ride height and pre-load, they are also better constructed compared to the SS.

In terms of value for money, the Super Streets are very hard to beat for general road use full adjustable coilover. The Flex would be a better choice if you're in track days.
