Bob
Does anyone know where I can get a set of copper washers from off the shelf? Was hoping to fit my calipers tonight and only just remembered these. I know Halfrauds used to sell them but none of the branches near me seem to have any, let alone know what they are. Digsy
Be careful just buying copper washers as they will be too wide. What you need are copper sealing washers. I bought some of these recently and I had a bugger's job getting some. I went to Halfords, Fast fit, ATS and a bunch of other places. I ended up in a fleapit MOT station that specialised in keeping the local taxi fleet going, and they gave me some for free (apart from the £10 in petrol I'd used up driving about looking for them!) If you are really stuck, an autoparts place will be able to sell you a kit with a bazzillion sizes in it for a few quid. The best place to go is Mr T because IIRC the Supra washers have anti-rotation features on them.
JohnA
Yeah, I got them from Toyota, even though I have lots of generic washer sets.
