Getrag
.....instead of absorb the bumps? A mechanic friend noted that my suspension seemed a bit more "crashy" than is should and I tend to agree with him. The Tein Super Streets were on when I got the car so I dont know how old they are. Do people find that after a certain amount of time they start to leak and not absorb the bumps so well. Will it be worth getting them refurbed or better off just getting a new set. I'd love that "new(ish)-car" feeling of new suspension. Where it just absorbs the bump with no noise and rattling.

geoffvalenti
Mine was knocking and creaking like crazy. A new set of Bilsteins did the trick
RedM
Mine was knocking and creaking like crazy. A new set of Bilsteins did the trick Slightly off topic but what springs did you partner them with?
geoffvalenti
Slightly off topic but what springs did you partner them with? I used the original stock springs. The springs were OK, just the shocks that were past their sell by date. It revolutionised the ride of the car, probably the best "bang for your buck" thing you can do. Max Headroom
I had the same, my front suspension was shot and I changed them for Bilsteins and Eibach springs. Made the car handle much better and felt more confident going into corners. Do it!!
Sheefa
Yep I'm running Bilsteins and Eibachs and they were on it when I bought her. They seem pretty damn good now and were installed back in 2002 so they must of been mint back then!
