Suspension noise

I've just started getting a 'new and interesting' noise from the car.

If you press down on the drivers side wing it goes 'squooshy', and the first few bumps in the road cause a 'squonk' from the same area. I recently had koni sports fitted on the car, and that turned up no suprises.

Any ideas what it could be? The guy that normally works on my car is on holiday, and I was hoping to get an idea of what's up before I go to another place I occasionally use ...

:(

yeah i have a similar sounding noise if i have to drive down my gf's god awful road. it's never when driving over speed bumps, just when the load is on one side of the car.

Mine's over speed bumps too, but only the first few.

I had the bushes looked at and new shocks only months ago ... I don't like to think that the shock has failed already, so I'm hoping it's something new and inexpensive to fix!

Looks like they've just changed mate :)

Ah - good. Glad it's not just me ;)

There I am, using the fabled 'search' facility, flipping through a few old posts, and suddenly it all looks different :search:

I'm starting to think that 'creak' may partly describe the problem ... it certainly turns up more results!
