Had a reply regarding the paint job:

Hello supra-gaz thankyou for your bid .The car was originally bronze in colour and was resprayed by the original owner because it had been keyed ,the guy was told it would need a full resprey to look good again . Ferrari red was his favourite colour for a car hence the colour. There is no evidence of the original colour what so ever and must of cost a fortune . I am pleased to say the car has been in no accidents and when i bought the car i had an hpi check done just to be sure. This was done in october last year.

I remember seeing a bronze UK on ebay quite a while ago, it was discussed on here and even then people were suspect and it was quite low mileage too, tbh I don't think they ever made the UK in bronze, and if they did it would be the only one!

I dont think they did... he probably went to bronze from something else, then to red?
