View Full Version : MVP announces Official Boost Logic U.K. Distributorship
MVP Motorsports is proud to announce that we are now the one and only Authorized U.K. Distributor for Boost Logic. We have long distributed Boost Logic in the U.S.A., and are in fact their largest customer already. We have unofficially sold Boost Logic to the U.K for years, but due to issues with the delivery of their products to your country with other suppliers, we have gone back to Boost Logic and worked with them to strengthen both their presence and support here.
We stock many of their most popular products, ready for immediate dispatch to your door. This includes their crank pulleys, turbo blankets, built auto transmissions (available with or without your core), timing belt tensioner brackets, turbo kits (both N/A and TT), fuel systems (both N/A and TT), and 102mm exhausts, along with every other item they manufacture.
We will continue to offer all of the lines that compete with Boost Logic (PHR, Greddy, HKS, many others), so do not worry about this effecting our ability to provide you any brand you want!
If anyone has any questions, or need a delivered price to your door, please contact me privately or post it up here.
Finally, attention to my fellow traders please: Boost Logic will not be offering any direct dealings with other U.K. traders. However, in order to allow everyone access to their product line and offer every trader the opportunity to stock their products, they have authorized us to create Authorized Dealers. As an Authorized Dealer you will have access to wholesale pricing as allowed by Boost Logic. You will also have full warranty and factory support just as if you were purchasing direct. Buy-in and advertising agreement is required. Please contact me for further details.
Thanks!
Dusty
Can you post up a list of prices please:)

:yeahthat:
Will you get stuff off them on time or will it take 6 months+ after the initial deadline passes :)

Not to be picky, but you're not really a UK distributer... and I thought Vortex were?
There has been a lot going on behind the scenes lately. Please PM me if you need BL info etc.
Wow thats all out of the Blue, came at a good time though.
E-mail sent RE: - Dealership.

USA company to be UK distributor? sorry mate but it doesnt inspire me with confidence. Delivery times etc, I wouldnt need to be in a hurry for a part replacement, unless I was willing to pay big delivery charges. I am sure customs will have a field day on tax and vat etc.

Well if I can buy in then I can hold stock here in the UK. I would say:-
2 X trannys
Stage 1,2 & 3 Turbo kits
NA-t Kit
and a load of other parts too.
We already hold a few £1000 of BL kit unoficially. So then the parts woudl ship form the UK for you - Mr N.Ireland!

Just had a look at Terry's factory direct prices, looks like stuff is about to go up in price? correct me if i am wrong?
What? Why do you say that? No point me shelling out if its going up I guess.

I hold all of their small parts in stock at MVP (blankets, crank pulleys, timing belt tensioner brackets, etc.).
I have the following turbo kits IN STOCK:
Stage 1 61mm
Stage 1 67mm
Stage 1 67DBB
Stage 1 71mm
Stage 2 turbo kits (same thing as Stage 1 but with 4" midpipe / downpipe) are backordered 2-3 weeks, Boost Logic is out of the 4" piping.
Exhaust: 2 week backorder as of today
Fuel systems: All in stock!
Transmission: 1 in stock!
MVP does not mess around and Boost Logic is one of our better vendors for estimated wait times, unlike some.
If anyone has a specific inquiry on a Boost Logic part being in stock or not (or any part / brand) just ask! :)
Kind regards,
Dusty

Correct, we are based in the USA. We ship air freight and items we have in stock arrive in 5-12 days after we ship (even quicker if you want to pay extra for a really fast courier), which is quicker than most UK-land-based traders can put things on your doorstep. Ask any of the dozens of very happy customers MVP has on this forum. They saved both money and time.
I will let Terry handle the Vortex questions.
Cheers,
Dusty
From what I hear.....your service (once contacted) is excellent but responding to emails etc seems to be a long running problem, that is the main reason for me having never used you. If you can pick up on the email probs, I guess you should be in a good market sition if terry (et al) are no longer continuing with the BL market.

If you wish to purchase from someone based in the UK, that is what Authorized Dealers will be for as mentioned in my original post here. I have already had 2 traders inquire with me in the first 12 hours.
I can see you have never dealt with MVP, or you would not be so quick to pass judgement. I have sponsored this forum longer than half the traders currently on here, and MVP's level of service and reputation speaks for itself both in the USA and internationally.
You already pay tax and VAT when you buy from a UK trader. Its no different no matter where you purchase, they just bury it in the price. If you do not wish to purchase from us, please consider an Authorized Dealer here in the UK. It seems there will be 1 or more very soon.
With regards,
Dusty

One other thing dusty - consider getting Skype with a UK phone number, free calls for us through skype or people pay normal local rate to use their phone (and it doesn't cost you to recieve calls).

Minus an ocassional missed email (I get 100-150 every day on average, a couple get missed/deleted with SPAM), all emails are answered within 1 business day, most of them much quicker than that. I also have a phone I man for a minimum of 9 hours a day, or I can call you.
Maybe you heard wrong? Sounds like you have never contacted me yourself, as you said, from what you hear. No offense at all, just making sure I get a fair shake is all. :)
I am vaguely familiar with Skype, cheers for the recommendation.
Kind regards,
Dusty

You out at SEMA Las Vegas this year?
Will hopefully be there and say hello!

Absolutely, I go every year. I pretty much have to so we can nail down the next year's distributorship agreements with the manufacturers. Vegas "used" to be fun and exciting. :(
If you are going to make it just contact me so we can exchange mobile numbers, would love to meet you!
Dusty

Thats odd, whenever I've spoken to him via email hes been very responsive, social + friendly and the parts ordered have arrived on the dates specified.

I bought stuff from him for my MR2, the service was first rate and the prices were excellent, and shipped to my door in less than 6 Days.
When I need parts for my Supra I am shopping at MVP :)

I can vouch for dustys services also, always responded to my mails (albeit anoying as i am :d )
Have bought lots in the past, save me money and was always straight with me when it came to delivery timescales. ;)
Cheers for that gentlemen! :)
Dusty
Yep never had any problems from Dusty and he's always been as helpful as possible even with oddball requests for obscure parts not stocked by MVP.

i cant speak for all the UK traders but my experience of them was BAD, i would wait a week for a reply to an e-mail that didn't answer my question then another week for another reply etc, i then tried MVP and had parts within 5 days, guess where i now buy all my stuff from
Not flaming anyones reputation here but has anyone thought about how off shore companies fall under UK trading rights and laws if there is a problem? or is this all based on honour and trust ?
From my understanding, outside UK companies to not have to honour any UK laws on trading !
Would be nice to get some confirmation on this.

Fair question Mig, I am happy to address it. From my understanding offshore companies do not fall under UK law, so yes it is basically honour and trust. MVP has been around longer than any other trader on this forum that I am aware of (1999).
We are not going anywhere and even if we did you have the support of the manufacturer! Every trader on here is only as good as the warranty and support of the manufacturer. MVP is direct with every name brand we offer, can anyone else on here say that? (No...)
So if MVP was not around to take care of you or we refused to (and of course we never have, never will) then the consumer can go direct to the manufacturer and have recourse there because the consumer purchased it from an authorized dealer.
But in the long run like many things it comes down to trust to some degree. Kind of like I would trust a UK trader that has bought parts from me to pay me timely and answer my emails asking where payment is for 6 months instead of ignoring me.
Regards,
Dusty
Good reply and thanks for covering it. I'm sure that has put alot of peoples minds at rest :)
