tDR Posted August 16, 2006 Share Posted August 16, 2006 One of the worst kind of fuel cut defensers out there the HKS unit - corrupts all of the data coming from the MAP sensor instead of only clamping it above a certain voltage. This has both fuelling and turbo transitioning implications. It will however let you boost as high as you like, the ECU is fooled into thinking the boost is below the cut value all the time. Then an unwitting buyer buys it, has it fitted and wonders why his 2nd turbo doesn't seem to come online like it should anymore.
