Dave Henshall Posted August 16, 2006 Share Posted August 16, 2006 i was bord today so i did a bit of maths... a good stage 1 , 2.0 cossie 4pot engine running 1 bar of boost will make 270hp. so 270/(4*1)=67.5 hp per pot, and i wonderdd why the supras made much more power with only 0.8 bar of boost as std.. then reliased they are 6 cylinders.. re work the above and put the supra numbers in... 67.5*(6*0.8)=324 hp almost exactly what the TT is as std ... i know this is simple stuff, but int maths brilliant Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You cannot like for like compare 2 completely different engines with completely different turbo setups and assume 1 bar of boost on each is equal if they have the same no. of cylinders. Brian.
