Suprash
Hi guys, been a while again, but been busy with life and a new job. Anyway the Supe is going in for some work next week and as it happens it feels like my clutch is about to let go. Now at the moment I have a Southbend clutch and lightened flywheel, but this time Im wanting to go back to standard. Now I have spoke with toyota in Basingstoke and the best price they can do for me is £610. Now the car is having a load of other work and this u-turn is costing a little more then I would like. I know there was someone on here that claims to get some of the best prices around for Toyota parts, but I cant remember their name? Anyone....? Also I was speaking with Raymanuk the other day and he was saying about a pressure plate that can be bought for aftermarket flywheels, is this true, anyone know about this sort of thing as I dont get to go on here as much these days so no doubt I have missed loads of new Supra stuff or new knowledge thats come about....... Hope your all well, and playing nicely......

Mate, is the stock clutch used ? Guessing it is for £350........ And the skimed flywheel, why was it skimmed ? Scoring or to make it lighter ? And what if I cant exchange ? raymanuk
Dude the pressure plate is for the clutch not flywheel. It helps keep the pressure on the clutch that was previously there due to the heavier clutch on the stock is what I was saying to yer Chck here: - Linky
