My top glovebox has only always had half of the buttons you squeeze to open it, whilst at usc this year shut the lid and ping, the other half of it broke off. (Apologies for the bad picture quality) My tickets were inside and I needed to get a 'pass out' to go up to Tesco for a beer run. No tickets = no pass out = no beer Spoke to a couple of other supra owners, one a UKspec with an airbag and another Jspec with the top box I had. Had a good look at it to workout if it was 'pickable', decided not so took the dash apart, bottom box off etc etc, finally realised that doesn't help so with a couple of trusty hair pins managed to pick it open... yay! It now shuts but I have to pick it open every time. Anyone know if you can buy the locking mechanism on its own or do I need a whole new lid? Any ideas of part numbers?
