strange thing that ive noticed, which has been amplified by having the car decatted. I dont usually run the car low on fuel but i had to before i got to a gas station earlier today. Noticed that when the needle is just slightly above the E on the fuel gauge, im getting around 1-2 psi more boost, its not happened just this once but a few times before when ive been low on fuel, it runs really really well. Surely this isnt right and indicates that i have a problem in the fuel system or the breather system??? or something that when i have more fuel it wont boost like it does when its low. Any ideas??

Second problem ive noticed since reverting back to Seq. from TTC when me & wkdtime were trying to find the "missing" boost is that there is no prespool on no.2 anymore, the boost just drops at the cross over point and then picks up again ever so slowly. Im guessing its a vacuum problem or one of the vsv thingys...err which valve/set of hoses should i be checking with regards to this problem??

seems to have got worse, had a quick test earlier today when the roads were dry and yes there is no prespool on No.2 turbo at all, sometimes when my foot is flat down it just doesnt come online at all until i lift off slightly and reapply the accelerator....any ideas where i should check? Im guessing its one of the VSV's?? Wheres JohnA when you need him :D

Have a read of this info in the tech info section regarding the Sequential system, has a few things to check eg VSV's

Thanks dude, im guessing its all pointing to the EGBV VSV. Any ideas about why the car boosts more with low fuel level??

It is possible that it coul dbe the EGBV VSV. Not sure about why it would boost more with low fuel.

I think i have a spare one of those VSV's lying around if you wanna try it. :)
