You can only manually lower the active spoiler with the ignition turned on and the engine not running. It is not possible to lower with the engine running manually, unless you mess with the wiring.

I have tried that and it still doesnt lower.

The green down light comes on for a second and then goes off again:blink:

Do you get any warning triangle when it tries to delpoy at 60mph?

Could be its getting stuck on the lower lip (very common fault). Have someone press the button for you so you can have a look underneath and see if its trying to deploy.

hello mate, just seen your reply,do you know a modification to do this to the active spoiler as it would be magic to be able to manually control it.thanks

Put a switch on the live wire and when the cars off, drop it and cut the power via the switch. But once it goes up you'll have to stop and to drop it or cut the power at 60+.

Thought about it myself as I cant fit a new front, due to the ride height.

lol - yours for a grand :p

I have checked it to see if its trying to deploy and there is no sign of it even trying let alone catching on something.

I took it for a spin this afternoon and it deploys fine on auto at 60mph without warning lights:blink:

Any other suggestions?
