hi i want shift from 91 octane to 97 octane petrol .do i need to reset ECU? or does itself adjust,suggetions please .

it will adjust itself, but reseting the ECU will speed up the ECU in learning the fuel in the car :)
Be careful with the definition of 'octane'
Do not compare US and UK figures, they are not the same.
One is (RON+MON)/2, the other just RON
I'm not sure what they use in India, not that it matters lol.
I remember getting fuel from some blokes with a barrel and a handpump, who knows what crap they had mixed in there and what had already evaporated - the bike pinged a bit but survived though.
