Any knowledge on V-Dubs?

recently bought a new project/Missus new car
1994 VW Golf 2.0 8V Convertible

The drivers door dsnt work, checked wiring inc door loom for any breaks, theres no drain on the dash lights either, so im guessin no power to motor, i aint got my elec testin tools till monday either which is a pain

and the Convertible roof doesn't work, No noise or drain there either

Ask Migster when he comes on later. He has worked on a golf. Not sure which one as he keeps it hidden :search: but he is very knowledgeable

Nice looking example mate. Don't know about the problems though.

Fuses? silly but true..take a wire from the battery and power the window motor direct if you have no tools to test. same if its a power hood.
