Hi all,

Here's the score. Bought a Black J-spec Auto TT Supra on a 93 plate with mods as listed here:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140006501925&sspagename=ADME%3AL%3ARTQ%3AUK%3A1&rd=1

Guy was a member of this forum and Supra is in very good condition.

However, I've heard a couple of noises recently - suggestions that could be crank pulley, tensioner belt or the like, but it only happens 1 in about 10 starts, for only a few secs.

Anyway, looking to get it properly checked and serviced. Suppose you have to pay the bucks to make it last right, and I LOVE this car with so much damn passion! Put aside around 800 quid to make sure I get this done properly. Has anyone had a good experience (or bad) with the Toyota dealership?

Any warranty offered after the service and how much is it normally gonna be?

Thanks guys and big love!

Greg;)

Greg,

It is worth making the journey to Chris Wilson, have a search for his name.

He is based in Shropshire and i haven't heard a bad word said about him, he knows more than most about Supras and will see you right im sure.

Toyota dealers tend to be pretty poor at servicing Supras they are more used to the mundane family type car and so don't really get to work on many of ours.
