Only just read this & realised it's tomorrow! doubt i'm gonna make it down as i've got loads on this week with work etc :(
I think i got there for about 6.15pm last month & i parked right outside the front door next to my mate's White R34 if you recall? There was hardly anyone about and so we ended up having some tea while we were waiting for everyone to arrive.

Yeah to be Honest it was very quite the usual type of cars ie FTOs,300ZXs,Skylines etc but just Less of them :search: even the Photographer wasnt there !! LOL

what i tend to do is get off at the junction before which i think is a58 up the sliproad turn right to the lights straight across just keep going and bear left and it will drop you on the 580 turn left you will come to shell garrage on your left, easy peasy:p

Charlie, I think most people are meeting up at Haydock a little earlier than usual. After how busy it was in February most of us were fighting for spaces. Looks like Ian and Wez are meeting at 18:00 at Haydock.
Post up what time you are meeting at the Trout and if I'm about, I'll meet you there otherwise I'll either be at Haydock at 18:00 or I'll see you at Mascrat. Do you still want that Airbox ?

From what I can remember the TT and N/A airboxes are different, so I don't think it will fit yours. I'll bring it anyway so you can see what's what.
Time from the trout to Haydock: about 30 mins (at N/A speed :p)

Morning all!
What a great night it was yesterday, made even better by meeting some really awesome people who were more than willing to put up with my constant questions!! Lol. I feel a lot more informed about my car now but still have no idea about the boost controller!
Everyone I met last night from the Supra camp was great, don’t want to mentioned any names in case I miss anyone out!
Special thanks to Wes tho who spent a fair bit of time trying to work out my controller for me! (also really like the removed wing look on your car, something different that really add a different look to the supra!)
Didn’t want to leave so early in the game but I think my girlfriend was getting a bit on the edge of her seat by half 9!
Some lovely Supra’s too! Really given me some insight into what I want to do!
So, on to t-bay (the place to buy!!!) this morning (when the boss isn’t looking!) to order that gorgeous dash kit a few of you had installed and the clear front and side indicators which really set off a lot of the cars!
Thanks again for the warm welcome, absolutely everyone was great! Defiantly going to come to JAE now!

i wouldn't recommend changing anything unless you're confident you know what you're doing, which you would be after having a good read up on it i bet
if you ain't sure then don't mess with it! just in case ;)
remember i was saying about getting that pipework checked out though since one looked like it was hanging off? and also that you could watch your boost gauge to see what boost it was actually making when you were driving?
i'd start with monitoring the boost gauge & if it seems to be working as is, then just leave it, but get its connections checked by someone who knows what they're doing or by following that guide :cool:

other than that, nowt. i've been toying with the Carputer idea but nothing yet, and i've got some footwell lights to wire in but just haven't had chance - maybe i can get them in at the weekend in time for Monday night
oh and i replaced a rear number plate light bulb :D

I made it through for a while, parked at the opposite end to the rest of you guys though, I just parked in the first available space! Some nice cars there tonight, the white RX-7 was stunning. Might come down another month in the summer :D

Matt, you've got a couple of things you can try yourself, i.e. the fuel cut defencer being turned up too high & the plugs being the wrong ones or gapped incorrectly? once you've checked those i'd then go & visit Mr Wilson, you'll get better use of his time then. you know he won't like your electronic boost controller don't you? ;)
you've also helped me realise that being a passenger in the supra isn't nice

No matey its written in Borland Builder c++ 6, I have to use .NET alot @ work but not really fan TBH.

the guy who originally removed from his car must have been using a chainsaw or something, the screen is in bits & has a tiny ribbon that is snapped & missing. the GPS mouse wiring appears to have been butchered for some reason & when i plug it into the USB port XP just says it's not working properly. i think it needs some kind of serial > USB driver first before you can use the actual GPS driver with it, but the www.royaltek.com web site ain't to great & doesn't appear to have what i'm looking for

I hope it's nothing terminal, but I didn't like the amount of oil you seemed to be venting at the plenum, looked to my untrained eye like a turbo problem. It is worrying however that Chris hasn't identified the problem yet :(

..which reminds me of something I've been meaning to look into. The new-ish BMW 535d twin-turbo diesel. Customer of mine was telling me how great it is with one small turbo for low end and a big one for big power. I explained that it was probably two small turbos due to them needing to flow the same.
But today I read the 'one small and one big' thing in Auto Express. Anybody know for sure?
