bondango Posted August 2, 2006 Share Posted August 2, 2006 done this on an r154 manual but the same procedure could be used for an auto box. You need to buy a trans fluid temp gauge like the one below.. http://www.thepartsbin.com/sitemap/toyota~trans_temp_gauge~parts.html also buy a Autobox fluid drain bung from Mr. T Drill out a hole in the centre of the new bung and have it tapped to suit the sender fitting on your gauge. fit the sender to it, and replace your old autobox bung with your new setup.
