Guest SABO
Hi there, my name is Daniel, 28 years old and I´m from North Germany. After driving a lot of japanese cars like Eclipse D32, Integra Type-R and Subaru Impreza I would like now to drive a Supra MKIV TT. In Germany there are only a handfull of good Supra´s available - so I want to drive to England in September to buy a Supra. Maybe someone here can help me or want to sell his car. The Supra should only be built 1993-1996, younger cars I can´t get license plates in Germany... only TwinTurbo, favourite colors black or silver. Manuell Transmission. And the car should be in original condition. Price Range= max. 12000EUR (max. 8000 GBP) Please offer to eMail: [email protected] Thanks, Daniel
Rayman
That budget will probably get you about a 94 with fairly high mileage, 8K is on the limit of budget for a TT manual im afraid!
D3xt3r
You will have to budget around 15k€ for a nice manual car in good condition. After that transport, conversion and TÜV will be another 2-5k€. So if you dont have 20k€ laying around dont think about it.
SteveR
He could get a non-turbo for that money

No Problem, I´ve got nearly 20k€ at my bank account, but I don´t want to give them out. I know from a few imported Supra TT Manual in Germany, and them paid also in this range. So I know that its possible. For 20k€ or some more I can buy a LHD Supra in Germany... Surely I know the costs of transport, TÜV... I calculated it with 3k€. For example autotrader.co.uk there are more than 30 Supra TT about 7000-8000GBP, are them all in bad condition?
Bobbeh
Not all will be in bad condition, you may be lucky and find some that are good.. usually lower prices indicate issues with paint or mechanics that require work doing to them. There is a UK Spec 6 speed for £11k being sold by one of the members on here. Have a look at the cars for sale section.

smithy23
Theres also a uk spec manual on ebay, no history though and its 140K miles, looker though!
D3xt3r
I also imported cars from the UK before and a Supra TT two years ago. The problem is it will always get more expensive then you think. Personally I would opt for an LHD car if you can stretch it from a financal point of view. Not because they are better or something but you will have alot of problems selling the RHD car in germany. If not go for an UK Spec or really good low mileage, lightly modded JSpec.
Guest SABO
if I go to UK, do the seller accept EURO? Or have I to change first in GBP?
