I hate telephone queueing systems!

Well I have just phoned directline on behalf of Vicki to put the Supra on her policy as we have just sold the Rav4 (that is a sperate trauma which I will post about in a minute). So I am on the phone and I select the 'I am an existing policy holder' option. 26 minutes later and I am still getting the stupid 'we will be with you shortly messages', so I decide to hang up and try again. But this time I choose the 'I have had a quote and now want to take out insurance' option....... Surprise surprise I get to talk to someone within 1 minute. Just shows what they think about their existing customers.

 

Vicki only has one month left so she is going to get her extra years no claims bonus and join Sky. Also worth noting that the excess is ridiculous with Directline (£950 for Vicki).
