My brother has a 93 celica gt-4. Wants some better braking and i was wondering if this car shares the same brakes as a j-spec supra? If this is the case can we bolt some uk spec brakes it??? Think ive seen some for 800 bucks!!! He was going to spend £500 on some drilled and grooved disks and some big hitting pads, surely the bigger brakes would be better?

Err the st205 brakes are damn good, aftermarket brakes (not discs+pads) are not as good! The jap brakes (I have one) are the same as the supra UK ones & celica UK ones (toyota care if we crash because our cars are better :p ) they are 4 pot @ front and 2 pot @ rear.
I would suggest new pads + discs (trd ones), someone on here celicaplus500? put porka brakes on the front :)

Do you have trd pads and disks on yours? My brakes look a little bigger on the soop, just tried to measure them and i do believe your right, by giove!!!

About 315 mm and four pots on the front! Always thought mine were bigger than his. How do people cope with j-specs with smaller brakes, fry mine all the time, time for some goodridge, pads and 5.1 motul i think!

Dont have trd discs on as stock discs have around 6k still left in them, but trd ones are good,
