Downloading club movies

Hi

I Have inlaws out in Spain and it would be great to put some of the club movies on a DVD and take out to the father inlaw as they don't have Broadband, especially the convoys

The movies don't play in media player so how do you create a play list and burn to a disc?

Under the post in club movies there should be a link "download here" (e.g http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showpost.php?p=759500&postcount=1.

Click this and you'll be redirected to the google video page (e.g. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1041278025622560639)

On the right should be a button "download", click this then save to disk.

Once you have all the files you need use a program like Nero to compile and burn to DVD or other format :)

EDIT - IGNORE ABOVE, IT DOESN'T WORK! Will try and find a way and get back to you!

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Okay, bit of a work-around: Once you access the link it will be saved to your drive under temporary internet files as an flv file. Once you locate the file you can use a converter to convert to mpeg and then add to your DVD.

nothing showing there,

if there no way when movies are out on they are formatted to Mp instead of Google or is that just the easier standard way,

The movies are saved on google as .flv format (flash video) so the only way for you to use them is to save (which is done automatically to your temporary internet files directory once you access the video) and convert them to a format Nero can use to load to DVD (such as .mpeg)

found how to do it but Media player won't play it something about not supporting file type ( codec)

Can see how you download and convert it to Media Player and save the movie, and then be able to create a playlist and then burn to disc

Just can't play it... ahhh Thought we'd cracked it,

I have latest version of Media Player installed

Media player will not play.flv format, you need macromedia flashplayer (to play in IE) or a 3rd party .flv player to play in a seperate application.

However to convert to a format that can be loaded to DVD by Nero you will need one of the already mentioned conversion utilities.
