Okay all advice appreciated , my wheels are booked in for the 4th of september , costing me £520 for four split rims .

Im having the rims polished but not laquered (lacquerd , lack urd ) and the centres painted . Im sold on having them gloss black but what do you guys think ?

Just thought id ask before i go ahead , i no that i can always change the centre's if i dont like them as thats not the expensive part of the job.

Cheers

(ps not a photoshop wizard yet so forgive me :) )

All black (satin black, not gloss black), too many black with polished rims around now IMO :)

All black . i need to see that , ill have a go and post up a pic .

I know what you mean about too many cars going for black and polished rim .

Whats the difference between satin and gloss black ? not a paint expert .

I would say go with gloss black as it would be easier to take care of then satin black as far as cleaning and such. You will be able to put a nice coat of polish/wax on the gloss whereas it might be a bit harder to do the same with a satin finish.

Black. It's the new.....erm...black?

I used to think black wheels looked total pants

But the more you see around now .... they look really quite superb

Some of the Supra i've seen look absolutley stunning

As you say its the latest black,

The in thing at the moment, but you need the right colour car

And hey beats having to keep washing the wheels to get rid of brake dust ...
