simonas
every car I've had lately has had an apexi induction kit in and the soop I have just bought hasn't. Is there any benefit to be actually gained in the twin turbo soop with having one and which would be the make to go for? do they require 2 like my GTR did or one? I'm a soop novice so need to ask these silly questions sorry! Simon

Class One
Done to death on here but most will say that the standard airbox with a toyota filter is the best way to go upto BPU levels.
Stonkin
Mate, most people prefer to stay away from them. The sealed original airbox does the job better and is fine to handle a fare amount of power. Just use a decent panel filter. But, IMO, induction kits do sound good, i have an Apexi on mine and that is considered to be one of the best (stay away from HKS!) But ideally it needs to be surrounded by some proper shileding, or bettre still contained in a box as the supra engine bay gets very hot. Personally i wouldnt change mine and it has never caused my car to feel lumpy, when sat in stand still traffic for example. I'll leave it as it is cos I was always convinced that my other cars suffered to them . but I do miss the noise. the apexi in my s14 sounded brilliant in my opinion
