grahamc
Hi all, Just trying to find out if anyone has had any dealings ROTA wheels. http://www.rotawheels.com/home.shtml Had a quick look at their site, and there are a couple of wheels that look decent. Would like to know what sort of quality they are? Weight wise, are they worthwhile? Anyone using any of these wheels? What are the ideal sizes? Offsets needed? JSpec TT6, UK brakes. Thanks, Graham
Nic
Hi Graham They are one of the cheaper wheel brands available, they are made in the Philippines and a lot of their designs are copies of popular Japanese branded wheels. I don't know what the quality is like, but I'm guessing you'll get what you pay for in terms of material, strength, weight, finish, etc. If you are on a budget I'd suggest looking for a second hand set of quality Japanese wheels in the correct sizes, rather than a brand new cheaper brand. If you're after quality then the major Japanese wheel brands are hard to beat. Here are a few links to some of them, give me a shout if there's anything you want a price for. http://www.weds.co.jp/products/index.html http://www.rayswheels.co.jp/ http://www.yokohamatire.jp/yrc/japan/wheel/ http://www.rd-tanabe.com/ssr/index.html http://www.work-wheels.co.jp/wheels/home.html http://www.hartwheels.co.jp/ http://www.do-luck.com/wheel.html http://www.blitz.co.jp/products/products.htm#04 http://www.trdparts.jp/english/parts_index.html cheers

Ian W
Hi Graham try PM'ing TDR as i know he has a set of Rota wheels. Not saying what Nic has said is wrong but it may be worth it if your budget can't stretch to new volks etc. cheers ian
