Guest saahild Posted July 13, 2006 Share Posted July 13, 2006 why do so many people always complain that the supra is such a heavy car when it weights more or less the same as many of the super and hyper performance cars? i mean yes in stock form the power to weight ratio would not be all that good in comparision but people say it doesnt handle well because of its weight but if super cars are just as heavy and handle so well why cant the supra?? just been wondering while watching an old topgear why people call it such a heavy car. I think some people automatically put it in the same bucket as the heaviest of skylines and similar when in fact it is quite a bit lighter, some models being comparible or lighter than a subaru impreza and the like. also I think the handling is good. What is a problem is traction and that is down to having a lot of power and torque and RWD, gadgets like rltc, lsd diffs and fat back tyres all help to handle that power more controllably though Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
