Pair of replica real carbon fibre Ganador mirrors £135 a pair including airmail to UK.

Note these are made from real carbon fibre, as opposed to the Ganador ones which are a printed carbon fibre effect. They are manual mirror adjustment, NOT electronic.

These are replica ones, the genuine Ganador mirrors include electric mirror control but are a lot more money. The genuine Ganador mirrors are available in either primer finish or a printed carbon fibre effect, they do not make genuine carbon fibre mirrors.

I can supply genuine Ganador mirrors also for these prices:

GANADOR Carbon Fibre Mirrors = £289 including postage
GANADOR GRP Mirrors = £212 including postage

If it helps, I'm after a set in silver (so don't mind removing the carbon effect vinyl and painting them).

I'm in Leicester too Keron/Nic so would save any return postage etc. :)
Let me know :)

I reckon they'd look nice as they are on your car Edd - no spraying. Match the other bits.

To be honest I'm not surprised if they're not full C/F - they're too cheap!

Hi Keron

I don't understand, the mirror part is real carbon fibre matting on the outside (the lower layer is GRP) not a stuck on sheet?

yes i thought they were real carbon fibre? as in the casing is actually made from cf and not grp coated in cf.

is this how all cf is? ive got a few things which are made from pure cf and not just coated in cf. the cf on the mirrors has been stuck on and finely trimmed? is this how they are meant to be?

I find that the majority of c/f products for general consumption are like this. For instance, 99% of bonnets are.

Take the Envy bonnet - that's a Stout one I think and is a proper c/f bonnet weighing about 8/9kg (IIRC from Gaz) as opposed to 18kg or so for most others. However, it's nearly double the price of other c/f bonnets. (Fantastic quality c/f, totally straight weave)

What really pees me off is when you have something advertised as c/f and it turns out to be that painted on crap effect. (Gear knobs usually)

It's high technology vs general consumption and cheaper price.

I guess it should be described as "Finished in high quality carbon fibre" rather than made of?

I've seen the Ganador ones and they look crap - not anything like c/f, so these ones Nic have must be a huge improvement on their effort. I still insist it's a fantastic price for the product you got.

What are they like too use, most aftermarket mirrors limit rear vision. The
stock mirrors are very good in my opinion

2JayZ
01-08-06, 20:02
Ya i found them a little hard to get used to, you cannot really see much. Stock mirrors are much better you do see a lot more. But i love the look of the Ganadors + they were on the car when i got it so i had to get used to them lol.
