Gerry
I've recently spent ages removing the old glue (from the balancing weights) from my alloys but now need two new tyres... Thus I'll have to do it all again when they re-balance. I've tried white spirit, petrol, fairly liquid, spit, etc etc and none work well. Any suggestions please.... Cheers G

Ark
Paint Thinner? WD40? Never done this, but I'm intrigued, because I've got loads of sticky patches from old weights.
Gerry
Spirit wipe, if not thinners. Sounds a bit like "white spirit" which doesn't work ! WD40 - nope... Cheers G
AdzC
I find Auto Glym Intensive Tar Remover gets glue etc off safely.
