Daston
I sold my MR2 on there and got a few 100 below what I really wanted but then it did have a huge list of problems. An Irish guy bought it and arranged it to be picked up by a lorry and taken to him.
garetheves
I sold my last one through eBay, didnt let it get to the end of the auction though cos otherwise they will sting you with fairly hefty charges. Use the old line of "advertised elsewhere so i retain the right to end early etc etc". Also give as many contact details as possible and ask people to get in touch with offers for the car and say you will end early if you receive the right offer. Mine was sold within 3 days of putting it up on there.
Pete
Sold a facelift TT a year ago. No problems luckily despite the usual bullcrap emails and swap requests that you get. A genuine 'mature' guy (50ish?) who came up from South Hampton with bankers draft and took us to the bank to cash it with him. Be very wary of people though.
