Don't need anything terribly fancy, not wanting to spend more than £150. Will just be replacing the stock cd/radio using standard speakers (although I'll be looking at upgrading those at a later date).

I've actually been looking at the Pioneer 4800 http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=4674

Looking at the differences between that, the 5800, and the 6800 there's not a lot between them it seems and I probably wouldn't miss the extra stuff anyway.

I quite like this idea:

You can pick up 6GB USB jobbies for about £60 now - that's a decent amount of portable music.

Now that's not a bad idea.

If it was me... I would personally go second hand and get one of the Pioneer P77MPs it would look great in the Supra dash :)

You can pick these up for around that price and they play MP3s to.

But it looks a bit crap and I can't plug a USB stick into it (I'm liking the idea of that JVC at the moment) ;)

Well I wasn't, but the more I think about it the more cool it would be to be able to plug a USB stick in and carry the music about with me. I'll see what price I can get on that Pioneer one and the JVC new, then I'll look around on ebay and decide I think.
