View Full Version : Newbie, posting on behalf of a mate.
My mate picked his supra up on Friday, its an import 3.0 twin turbo with the auto box.
he is unsure what year it is exactly and wondered if there was an easy way to find out from something like engine number or chases number etc?
Cheers for any help.
P.S what a lovely car it is to drive, and how nice it is to have other supra owners wave to you and flash there lights as you pass.;)
Hi PaulRobo,
Welcome to the board (ad your mate)
Try here :

apparently the label on the seat belts has the year of manufacture or so I was told, can't say I've looked myself.
Thorin is absolutely correct.

My front seat belt was replaced two years ago, you should see if all the belts have the same year
Excellent, thanks will have a look and find out then.
Bloody error on the V5 to, pone digit wrong on the chasis number and its a hasle getting ot corrected and means that the reg plate couldnt be trransferred straight away. £105 just to put it on retention, then another £80 to put it on the car at a later date! RIP OFF:eek:

Welcome to the club.
There is a midlands meet venue just up the road from you at the Bubble Inn in Stenson, so maybe see you there in the future.
