Bit strange asking for advice but I'm no expert in this field, I usually just pay someone to do the job but this time I was thinking of going for a Clifford.

I want one with all the bells and whistles, inc the really loud {beep beep} from a dual siren??

Any advise welcome.

Also anyone a fitter in the Southwest?

Hey mate defo use GAP to fit i have had 3 alarms from them now and they are fantastic, they come to your home or work to fit it and there work is second to non. They even offer a pay monthly shceme..

have a look http://www.gapsecurity.co.uk

Have never used them myself but am fairly sure that another member on here (also a fitter) has said before that they're absolutely useless and to NEVER go to them.

do a search on it Martin, am sure something will come up.

did a quick search and found it was Matt Harwood mate, apparently he's had to 'correct' a few of GAP's previous installations.

Cliffords are very sensitive to a good install.

Matt Harwood is well worth a visit to get it done right, first time.

ive got a clifford, not sure on the model but its got all the bells whistles, including the remote engine start. its realy good, ok ive only had the car 3-4 months but it hasent gone wrong yet.
good for starting up with air con on to cool it down befor you get in the car.
BUT you do have to set them if you just want to gewt out the car and not lock it, or thealarm will go off if you open the door.
so i say get one and impress the ladies down the pub.

lucifer try www.specialistsecurity.net they fitted my clifford concept 650 with dual zone proximity for £379 last week...bargain...they said he would be there inbetween 9am and 1pm..he showed up at 8.50am...installation took 2hrs 50mins and he was a top guy.....and surprisingly knew quite abit about supras...i told him to have a look at my golf which has the same alarm in but was fitted by gap security...i told him that gap had installed my dual zone underneath my gear panel in the golf and he said that it should never be put there...due to inference with coins that are left in car pockets etc....he said it should be installed into the roof (above the interior lights next to the windscreen)....dont use gap...ripoffs! gap charged me £45 (fitters rate...gaps alot more) to take out my old alarm in my golf...specialistsecurity took my old alarm out of my supe free of charge...give them a try!

note...make sure you get your proximity sensor turned down...as evertone in my street were ready to kill me coz my golf was buzzin about 15times thru the nite...keepin everyone awake:)

Im not commenting on your instal as I know nothing about it, however 3 hours to fit a concept 650 is very very fast!
