Thought id also take the spoiler off to give it a proper wash underneath the spoiler, boy does it collect some crap.

before i was going to get some cheap camera and screen off ebay.

but i went for the newly released Veba camera, its 25mm and costs £55.

which i tested at my local sextons before buying, ebay ones tend to be £25-30, but alpine do one for like over 200notes, sod that.

the only problem with this one is that i had to drill out the keyhole a little, in doing so slightly going through the cluster wall, ive got small particles off plastic lying in the cluster, and is not completly water tight, hope it doesnt mist up,

im going to send it out to jon, who does refurbs at some point to see if he can seal it up,

it is a right pig to get the securing ring on the back of the camera to tighten it up so no-one can steal it, but i managed to do it, lol

all fun and games ay!!

Just a heads up on this and others who mount bullet cams etc on their cars.

If you are driving like an arse and you are filming and then are stopped and the nasty policeman spots your camera, he can seize the camera and or the recording equipment and use it as evidence in court. Plenty of bikers have been caught on their own equipment playing silly buggers on the road.

(Not that any of us do it of course but its always nice to have a bit of knowledge that might help protect your licence! ;) )

I dont mind, its not hooked up to any recording equipment, its just replays realtime on the screen,

if i do get pulled over, ill just tell the officer to have a look out the back of my car, its purely to enhance rear view vision:d

but really, i dont intend on having any recording device hooked up. only track days.
