Just out of interest what do you guys think an NA will do if tuned correctly?

Theres been a thread where this was discussed recently, I think it was said that the becuase of the NA Transmissions gearing it would be limited to around 170ish (may have remebered wrong, will check to be sure)

Is that not a turbo timer on the top of stearing column ??

Turbo timers are still good for an NA engine arnt they? i know its not what they are made for, but a bit of cool dow time for any engine is appreciated. :)

Edit: it does have the 3 spaces below the stereo tho, hmmmm....

But that depends on the redline eh?

The only reason I say is because Im currently building the MKivStore Car Garage and a high revving NA is in the lineup.

I can't see why you couldn't get 350bhp out of an NA. You'd need some seriously naughty cams, balanced and lightened everything, loads of compression and some headwork I'd have thought. It's still a three litre engine after all so you have something to work with.

G-Force/DSA got 250bhp out of an n/a MR2, and it was almost as quick as my MR2T.
