Hi mate!

I've seen you about and we've waved to each other in Stevenage Old Town?

I'm the Asian lad in the Silver Supra with Carbon fibre bonnet. Lovely motor you've got there mate (assuming it's the one in your Avatar?!)

I always take my car to Phoenix in Watford. Speak to Mark and tell him that I sent you.

Could possibly be a worn clutch in which case it will cause premature wearing of the flywheel, driving it in this state so try not to drive it too much mate or put your foot down too hard.

Sometimes the wrong gearbox oil causes stiffness in the gearbox.

Don't worry too much, the phoenix boys will look after you, sometimes they are a little busy to make an appointment but they won't rip you off.

As Ro says, this could well be wrong gear oil. Its a very common problem and the symptoms are as you describe.

Get 2 litres of V160 (Steve Manley in Toyota Oxford is the cheapest and quickest source), any local garage can swap the oil. If symptoms continue then you need to visit a specialist like Phoenix.
