Clarkey Posted June 23, 2006 Share Posted June 23, 2006 Imagine you've had completely cooked UK brakes (front & rear) for 18 months - running stock pads. Imagine you fitted new stock front UK's 10 months ago. And imagine you warped the hell out of 'em - so bad - you get massive pedal pulse at braking at 80 and steering wheel shudder. I've heard mixed stories about the UK's - some people say they've had theirs lasting a long time - with no warping. Others have said they've warped a set of fronts in 2 months! Well, my new front UK's lasted 10 months. Now, imagine how happy I am - since fitting DBA 4000XS Gold Disks - Front & rear with carbotech pads. Smooth! The Supra, is nolonger scarey to drive! So, thanks to uncle Terry & uncle Mark at Phoenix! One last thing to do now .. and get the EM mapped tomorrow by Ian C .. and if poss help me setup my boost-controller.
