Okay, before saying this i know that the speedo is never 'accurate' so could be 10% either way.
Nevertheless....
I was on the track the other day and in a straight line put my foot down and looked how fast she'd go. This is a completely standard UK TT L-reg. I watched the speedo rise to 165 when some kind of limiter kicked in and no more throttle - just started slowing down, i don't think it'd let me accellerate until it came down a bit (i might be mistaken on this point as i was too busy admiring the white dashes turn into one continuous line).
So how come the manual says the top speed on the uk one is 155, yet it easily went faster and is it widely acknowledged that the UK one is limited either on the rev limiter or speed to 165.
I would of expected a limiter to simply cut the power at a certain amount of revs and 'bounce' around the top limit on and off....
