Make sure you have a WB02 sensor & AFR gauge before playing with your fuel settings.

The S-AFC2 does have an AFR gauge - AFAIK - but it lacks the WB02 sensor.

Alternatively, you can stick on the rollers - and they can use they're WB

Dave, you dont need the fields harness - just makes life alot easier.

WB02 and guage can be had for in the region of £200 I think - a rolling road with WB set up might be easier though - Rebas in Kent (where some of us went the other week) would be good :)

Didnt realise that the SAFC2 did have an AFR meter....is this narrowband or wideband...?

I'm pretty sure Martin keeps these!

it doesnt have a meter, by the look of that article Clarkey linked to it can read the voltage from the stock O2 sensor...

Ah, appologies. When browsing the SAFC-2 - I did see an AFR option. I assumed it was a WB meter. Hence the AFAIK.

Can use a rolling road - and get them to use their WB. Till you can afford to buy and fit your own one.

letmeshowyou

yeah do that - as I said REBAS had the facility to do this, £50ish should have you on the rollers long enough to get it set up if theyre in a good mood :)

Wire it in and use the basic settings? or will this fook things up. as it does say that the blue o2 wire is not normally used?

smarty

I think you should be able to wire it in and zero the settings so it will run as standard.

Clarkey

Wire it in. And keep the lo-boost & hi-boost settings to all 0. That way the SAFC-2 isn't doing anything.

Dude take the car to a Rolling Road and get them to set it up, I had mine done and they sorted out the A/F ratio at mid revs, runs sweet now!

They use Wideband sensors to measure the A/F ratio.

If you PM me I will tell you how to fit the SAFC and where!
