FOund a patch of oil a couple of days ago by the rear drivers side wheel, dropped the car off at my village garage thinking it was from the brakes as they had just been serviced. He told me that it was oil dripping from the diff radiator and that he has bi passed it and that he is already getting one made up to replace it.

How much are they usually? and do they actually do much? is it gonna be okay by passed for a few days?

Hi, I by-passed mine a year ago. Very easy to do-The cooler is only needed if you do hard track driving or autobarn speeds. No problems reported at all. The Jspec don't have the coolers. Just UK specs for the german roads

too late due to an over keen mechanic, but nice to know he cares. Thanks for the advice.
