crackling from passanger side

On the passanger side door now and then i get a crackling noise coming from it would this be the crossover going home :(

the standard speakers are tiny and over time the foam falls apart, thus making the speaker crackle - well mine did anyway.

there are some template somewhere on the site so you can ditch the plastic surround and fit nice bigger speakers !

the rubber around the speaker has gone mate.

You need new ones and the brackets to fit them :)

Oh, is that what it is? I've been driving around trying to pinpoint the sound and getting nowhere.

Could be a number of things... I would check all the connections first make sure they are fitted and clamped up properly...

other wise it could be the voice coils scratching (not good) or as the chaps have said above...

I would try the connections to and from the speaker first though

It could also be a cable 'grounding' on the body
