Noisey Brakes

The last week my brakes have been making a loud Squeeking noise when i come to break. I was thinking maybe its the heat? Anyone?

Nope, Only put new ones on 6months ago

my brother-in-law got a bit of grit in his caliper once on his Golf.. and that sounded horrible.. could it be that? any suspicious marks on the discs?

Nope had a good look yesterday, I did notice that it seems to rust up more than the other 4 for some reason.

sounds like stripping to down and having a closer look is your only option...? :rolleyes:

I've got a similar problem wit my brakes, when I come to a stop they squeak bad. But it's only when the brakes are warm, not from cold.

My pads and discs are new

Wot was the cause of yours?
How did u sort it?
How much was it to get sorted?
